Military Service

He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR. He served in RNAS Argus for #1 RNVR Pilot Training Course. He served in Desford for Flight Training, Netheravon for Flight Training. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in RNAS Hatston for 806 RN Squadron 1940. He served in RNAS Detling for 806 RN Squadron 1940. He served in RNAS Dunkirk for 806 RN Squadron 1940. He served in H.M.S. Illustrious for 806 RN Squadron 1940. He served in RNAS Halfar Malta for 806 RN Squadron 1941. He served in RAF Duxford for NFDU 1941. He served in RNAS Yeovilton for 825 RN Squadron 1941. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served with Saunders Roe as Test Pilot 1942. (He was demobilized.)
