Biography
He served as a marine engineer in the merchant service between the wars. After the Second World War he moved to Timmins in Northern Ontario where he worked in mining. He retired in 1967 to Kitchener, Ontario.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Stoker RNCVR. He served in Bermuda. (He was demobilized). (Mobilized for Second World War Service.) He was appointed as a Stoker Petty Officer RCNVR. He was appointed as a Stoker Chief Petty Officer RCNVR. He served in HMCS Quatsino. (He was demobilized.)
