He went to sea in 1876. He emigrated to the USA and was a cattleman. In 1891 he arrived in the Kootenay District for the mining boom. He purchased waterfront property in the Procter BC area and erected a hunting and fishing lodge known as Thomas Procter's Lodge. He speculated briefly on Moresby Island in the Queen Charlotte Islands. He moved to Nelson BC. |
