He served in the 3rd Battalion, Canadian Mounted Rifles. He went overseas on 12/06/1915 to France, 09/1915. He travelled to UK for commission 04/1917.(CFR). (Transferred to Royal Flying Corps 10/09/1917). He was appointed as a Flying Officer (RFC) (With seniority dated 25/12/1917). He served in #50 Squadron, 27/12/1917 to 14/02/1918 (under instruction); to #143 Squadron, 14/02/1918 (with them at Detling, October 1918). He served in 152 Squadron 05/10/1918 to 29/01/1919. (He was demobilized 06/02/1919.) |
