He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 15/04/1944). He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #41 Pilot Training Course. He served in USNAS Grosse Isle MI for Flight Training. He served in USNAS Pensacola for Flight Training. He served in RNAS St. Merryn for 792 RN Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS St. Merryn for 794 RN Squadron 1945. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 15/04/1945). He served in RNAS Worthy Down for Ferry Pool 1945. (He was demobilized.)
