Military Service

He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCNVR (With seniority dated 06/1942). He served in the Windsor Division RCNVR 1942. He served in HMCS Husky. He served in HMCS Magog as Gunnery Officer. He served with the DEMS Training Staff Halifax. (He was demobilized.) He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 15/06/1943) (Later backdated to 1942). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN(R) (With seniority dated 15/06/1950). He was appointed as a Commander RCN(R). He served in HMCS Carleton 1946-73 as NCSO and Commanding Officer UNTD. (He was qualified with a Watchkeeping Certificate.)
