(He was qualified as a Master Mariner.) He served as Master in the Isabel, Alida, North Pacific, Eliza Anderson, City of Kingston. He moved to the Puget Sound in 1862 on the Eliza Anderson. He commanded the Maude 1877-1879. In 1881 he was appointed as a British Columbia Marine Pilot for the Nanaimo Pilot age District. |
