Military Service

He was appointed as an Electrical Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 09/10/1941). In 1944 he was appointed as an A/Electrical Lieutenant-Commander (Temp.) RCNVR. (He was demobilized.) He was appointed as a Lieutenant (L) RCN(R) on the retired list. (Short Service Appointment 1951.) He was appointed as a Lieutenant (L) (SSA) RCN. (He was qualified for Permanent Commission.) He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (L) RCN. He served in HMCS Huron as Electrical Officer and as Squadron Electrical Officer for First Canadian Escort Squadron 1956-1958. (He was released.)
