He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/05/1943) (Later backdated to 1942). He served in HMCS Bytown 1943. He served in HMC LCA-1059 (In command) 529th LCA Flotilla (Carried in HMCS Prince David) for Operation Neptune 1944. (He was demobilized.) He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/05/1942). (He was demobilized.) (He was qualified with a Watchkeeping Certificate.)
