Biography
After his naval service he worked with the Department of Veteran's Affairs after retirement until 1974.

 

Military Service

(World War Two service), He served as a DEMS Gunner in SS Empress of Russia. He served in HMCS Uganda. (CFR). He was appointed as an A/Commissioned Gunner RCN (With seniority dated 11/12/1954). He served in HMCS Niobe as Staff Officer 1954. He was appointed as a Commissioned Gunner RCN (With seniority dated 11/12/1954). He served in HMCS Crusader 1955. He served in HMCS Bonaventure 1957. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN 01/01/1958). He served in HMCS Jonquiere 1961. He served in HMCS Stadacona as Parade Gunner 1961, Recruiting Officer Victoria 1964. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 01/01/1965). He served in HMCS Malahat as Staff Officer (UNTD) (UVIC)1965. (He was retired in 1967.)
