In 1951 he was the Principal of the Vocational Training Institute.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as an A/Instructor Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 27/10/1949). In 1951-52 he served as Commanding Officer University Naval Training Division Prince of Wales College. He was appointed as an Instructor Lieutenant-Commander RCN(R) (With seniority dated 27/10/1957). He was appointed as a Commander RCN(R). He served in HMCS Scotian as Commanding Officer UNTD 1966. (He was released.)
