Biography
He was the son of Lieutenant Joseph George Leopold Langlois RCNVR. He was a partner in Langlois, Kronstorm and Desjardins. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Raynold Langlois was a litigator and strategic advisor to corporate clients. He has been prominently involved in hostile takeover bids and related securities litigation. He was lead counsel to the Canadian federal government in the Urea Formaldehyde Foam Insulation (“UFFI”) case, the most complex product liability suit ever litigated in North America. He also represented the federal government before the Supreme Court of Canada during the references on the repatriation of the Canadian Constitution and the constitutional veto power of the Province of Quebec. H eserved as the President - Quebec Division of the Canadian Bar Association and Chair - Quebec Federation of Chambers of Commerce.

He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1960. He served in HMCS Montcalm for UNTD 1960. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN(R). He was appointed as a Commander RCN(R). He served in HMCS Montcalm as Commanding Officer. He was appointed as a Captain (NR). (He was released 1980.)
