(He was demobilized.) He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 06/02/1947). He was appointed as a Chaplain (Class II) (C of E) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 21/12/1949). In 1958 he served in HMCS Discovery as Chaplain to UNTD (UBC). (He was released.)
