Military Service
He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 18/03/1942) (Later backdated to 1941). He served in HMC MTB-460 (In command) 1944. (He was killed on 02/07/1944 in the loss of HMC MTB-460 when she was mined off the coast of France .)
