Biography
He worked as a teacher in the Frontenac County Board of Education 1956-1987. Retired as a teacher. Afterwards he worked for Laidlaw Transport – as an Owner/Operator 1987-1993.
 
Military Service
He served as a Cadet with the Princess of Wales Own Regiment Army Cadet Corps – 1944-1947. He served in # 1 RCAF Manning Deport – Toronto – September 1949-November 1949. He served in # 1 Flying Training School, RCAF Station Centralia – November 1949-September 1950. He served in Air Armament, RCAF Trenton – September 1950-November 1950. He served in Air Armament School (Instructor), November 1950-July 1951. He served in Air Armament School, RCAF MacDonald – July 1951-October 1952. He served in Target Tow Flight, RCAF Trenton – October 1952-Decembr 1954. He served in # 4 OUT, RCAF North Bay – January 1954-April 1954. He served in #445 Squadron, RCAF Uplands – April 1954-July 1954. He served in #428 Squadron, RCAF Uplands – July 1954-September 1955. He resigned from the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Flight Lieutenant – September 1955. He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 06/05/1957). He served in VC 921 Squadron May 1957 until Squadron was disbanded 31 March 1959. (He was released 00/11/1962.)
