Biography
In 1996 worked with the with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB). In 2018 he is an elementary special education teacher with the OCDSB, working with children from kindergarten to grade 8.
 
Military Service
He enlisted as a Cook (NR) in 1986. (CFR) He wa appointed as an Officer Cadet (ROUTP) 1989. In 1989 he served in HMCS Scotian. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (CF). He served in HMCS Porte St. Jean. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (N) (MARS). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (MARS). In 1993 he served in HMCS Anticosti as Navigating Officer. He served in HMCS Summerside (II) (in command) 2001-2002. He served in HMCS Carleton as Executive Officer. He served in HMCS Carleton as Commanding Officer 2009-2012. He was appointed as a Commander (NR). He was appointed the Naval Reserve Command Development Officer. He was appointed as a Captain (MARS) RCN (With seniority dated 0104/2015). He served as the Chief of Staff to the Central Region. He was appointed as a Commodore RCN (With seniority dated 01/07/2018). He was appointed as Commander Naval Reserves. He was appointed as a Rear-Admiral RCN. In 2024 he served as Chief of Reserves (He was released.) (He was qualified with a Minor War Vessel Bridge Watch-keeping Certificate and a Minor Warship Navigation Officer Certificate.)
