Military Service

He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 22/12/1941). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 22/12/1943 later backdated to 1942). He served in HMC LCI (L) 250 (In command) in 262nd Canadian LCI Flotilla for Operation Neptune 1944. In 1944 he served in HMCS Stadacona. (He was demobilized.)
