After his military service he worked in the heavy construction business. In 1974 he went into the gravel business in the Fraser Valley. |

He joined the RAF in 1939. He served in the Pathfinder Squadron in 1943. He gained renown for following German radar beams to locate the stations for destruction by bombers. 109 (RAF) Squadron as Commanding Officer 1944. Group Captain RAF. He retired in 1948. |
