Biography
He obtained a private pilot licence while at high school. In 1959 he worked for Hull Air Service and Buckingham Glider Club as a tow pilot. He joined Nationair Canada in 1987 as First Officer. He was appointed as Captain in 1988. He joined Saudia Air in 1993. He joined Singapore Airlines. He was awarded a Flight Safety Award in 1968 for safely landing aboard Bonaventure after being catapaulted through a wave.
 
Military Service
(Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1964). He served in HMCS Chippawa 1964. He served in HMCS Venture (Officer Training Establishment) 1964. He served in RCAF Centralia for Primary Pilot Training 1964. He was appointed as a A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN. He served in RCAF Portage La Prairie for Advanced Flying Training 1965, Awarded Pilot Wings 1965. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VT-40 Squadron 1966. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 03/10/1965). He served in HMCS Shearwater and HMCS Bonaventure for VS-880 Squadron 1966.
