Biography
After his naval service he was the founding executive director Liberal Caucus Research Bureau at House of Commons 1971-3. He was the Executive Assistant to the Minister of Transport (the Hon. Jean Marchand) in 1973. He was a Member of the War Veteran's Allowance Board in Ottawa 1974. He was a Member of the War Veteran's Allowance Board in Charlottetown in 1980. He was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the War Veteran's Allowance Board in Charlottetown in 1983. (He resigned in 1986.)

He was appointed as a Second Lieutenant in the Army COTC 1941-42, (Transferred to RCNVR), He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 14/10/1942).
