Military Service
He was appointed as an A/Engineer Sub-Lieutenant (Canadian Naval Force) 1910. He served in HMCS Niobe 1910. He was appointed as an Engineer Sub-Lieutenant RCN. He was appointed as an Engineer Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 16/09/1912). He served in H.M.S. Indefatigable 1912. (He was killed in action at the Battle of Jutland 31/05/1916 in H.M.S. Indefatigable.)
