Biography
He was living in Winnipeg MB at the time of his recruitment. He was the younger brother of Davis William Daycock. He obtained a B.SC from the University of Manitoba. He then worked in the administration of the university and later purchased a business in Camperville, Manitoba. In 1988 he was co-owner and later President of the Yacht Charter and Sailing School, Cooper Boating, Vancouver. Rick retired to Winnipeg.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1962. He served in HMCS Chippawa for UNTD 1962-1964. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 15/09/1964). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (RCN(R)). (He was released.)
