Military Service

He was appointed as an Assistant Principal Chaplain (Temp.) (CofE) RCN (With seniority dated 15/10/1940). He was appointed as a Chaplain (CofE) (Temp.). RCN. He served in NSHQ as Staff Chaplain to Principal Chaplain (P) 1942. He was appointed as a Chaplain Class II RCN (With seniority dated 15/10/1940). He was appointed as a Chaplain Class I (C of E) RCN (With seniority dated 07/03/1946). He served in HMCS Stadacona. (He was demobilized.)
