After his naval service he joined the Department of Veteran's Affairs at Sunnybrook and later the Ontario Ministry of Health. He retired again in 1988. |

He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF. He served as Navigator in 410 (RCAF) Squadron for Night Fighter Operations. (He was demobilized.) He attended Queen's University Medical School. (Transferred to RCNR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (O) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 05/05/1949). He served in HMCS Magnificent for 826 Squadron 1948, (Transferred to RCN), He was appointed as a A/Surgeon Sub-Lieutenant 1954. He served in HMCS Stadacona 1954. He served in HMCS Shearwater 1954. He served in USNAS Pensacola for Flight Surgeon's Course. He served in HMCS Magnificent as Flight Surgeon 1955. He served in HMCS Bonaventure as Flight Surgeon, Medical Joint Training Centre Toronto as Chief Instructor 1960. (He resigned.) |
