Biography
After his naval service he worked as a Lawyer in Toronto ON.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) c1940. He served in HMCS York 1941. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 16/03/1943) (Later backdated to 1942). He served in HMCS Kings (Officer Training Establishment) 1942. He served in HMCS Brockville 1942. He was appointed as Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 16/12/1943) (Later backdated to 1942). He served in HMCS Kings (Officer Training Establishment) for Short "n" Course 1944. He served in HMCS Ettrick as Navigating Officer 1944. He served in HMCS Ettrick as Executive Officer 1945. He served in HMCS St. Hyacinthe for Signals Course 1945. He served in HMCS Prestonian as Navigating Officer 1945. He served in HMCS New Waterford as Navigating Officer 1945. He served in HMCS Naden for Navigation School 1946. He served in HMCS Wallaceburg as Navigating Officer 1946. (He was demobilized September 1946.) He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 16/12/1942).
