Military Service

He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #25 Pilot Course. He served in #31 Service Flying Training School. He served in RNAS Taforouki Algeria for 813 RN Squadron 1943. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in RNAS Ta Kali Malta 1943. He served in RNAS Lee-on-Solent for 822 Squadron 1943. He served in H.M.S. Formidable and H.M.S. Implacable for 828 Squadron 1944. (He was demobilized.)
