Biography |
---|
At the age of 14, he left school to work in the oil fields to support his mother and eight siblings upon the illness and subsequent death of his father. Obtaining his high school diploma through correspondence courses, he came to Winnipeg in 1949 to attend the University of Manitoba. He was living in Winnipeg MB at the time of his recruitment. He became a teacher. |

He started an apiary (honey farm) having learned beekeeping from his father as a child. He had two stage plays (one in English and one in French) produced in Winnipeg and Brandon by St. Norbert's Theatre St. Genese company. |
