Biography
After his naval service he was a Professor of Physical Education at the University of Ottawa. He was the Executive Director of Sport Canada.

He was appointed as a Ordinary Seaman RCN. (CFR). He was appointed as a A/Boatswain RCN (With seniority dated 01/08/1945). He served in HMCS Stadacona for RCN Barracks Halifax 1945. He was appointed as a Boatswain RCN (With seniority dated 01/08/1945). He was appointed as an Acting Commissioned Boatswain RCN. He served in HMCS Stadacona as Officer-in-Charge of the P and RT School 1945-46. He was appointed as a Commissioned Boatswain RCN (With seniority dated 01/08/1945). He served in HMCS Stadacona as P and RT Officer. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 28/07/1949). He served in HMCS Stadacona on the Training staff (East Coast) of the University Naval Training Division (UNTD) 1954. He served in HMCS Cornwallis as Officer-in-Charge P and RT School 1955-60. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 28/07/1957). He served in the College Militaire Royal de St. Jean as P and RT Officer. (He was retired). (He was qualified for duty as a as a P and RT Officer at the RN Physical Training School.)
