He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 17/02/1940). (Mobilized for World War Two service 17/02/1940). He served in HQ of Commanding Officer Atlantic Coast on staff of Director Ant-Submarine Defences 1940. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He was appointed as a Electrical Lieutenant-Commander (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/07/1942). He was appointed as an A/Electrical Commander (Temp.) RCNVR (WHA) 1943. He was appointed as a Electrical Commander (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/01/1944). In 1944 he served in NHQ. (He was demobilized 13/08/1945). He was awarded the OBE "Commander Angus has made a great contribution in supervising the activities of the Royal Canadian Navy in the part it played in the production of anti-submarine equipment in Canada. The success of this production was due, to a marked extent, to the technical knowledge and supervision of this officer." |
